DEAR PEOPLE AT WOODSIDE:
QUACK!
ON MY JOURNEY UP THE ST LAURENCE SEAWAY INTO THE SAUGENAY RIVER, I SPOTTED SOME UNUSUAL SIGHTS:
THE FIRST, PERCHED HIGH UPON A ROCKY HILLTOP, IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WAS A GIANT VIRGIN MARY - LEGEND HAS IT THAT A MISTER ROBATAILLE , A TRAVELING SALESMAN, SLID OFF THE ICY ROAD ABOVE WITH HIS VEHICLE AND BOX OF SAMPLES INTO THE OCEAN. AS HE PLUNGED DOWN INTO THE ICY COLD WATER HE PRAYED TO THE VIRGIN MARY, AND INSTANTLY HIS CART AND HIM AND EVEN THE BOX OF SAMPLES WERE LIFTED BACK ONTO THE ROAD. MAYBE THATS WHY THERE DOESNT SEEM TO BE A ROAD THERE ANYMORE... ANYWAYS, I THINK HE HIED LATER IN THE HOSPITAL OF HYPOTHERMIA AND THE VIRGIN MARY WAS PUT THERE AS A TESTIMONY TO THE MIRACLE.
AND RIGHT UNDERNEATH MARY WERE SOME BABY BELUGAS....

Hi Rubber Duckie!
I stumbled on your web site a while back, and have been checking in on your blog from time to time. Though I am a human being, I enjoy traveling around the world too. I started wondering a while back if you have had a lot of problems with accessibility. I hope you won't find this rude, but I thought it could be difficult for someone of such a small stature and also someone rubber, such as yourself to get around. I would think that getting up the edge of a sidewalk might even be difficult for you or do you simply fly up? Or perhaps, you can't fly and if you fall you simply bounce?
Inquisitive, I know... but I really am curious.
Hi, little duck.
Greetings from Sweden.
:-)
Very excellent story about the Mary statue...and I am most jealous about seeing the baby Belugas as I very much resembled one at the end of my pregnancies I've always felt a connection with those guys.
